I had my first major walk of the year today. Took the Tuesday market bus to Abergavenny from Llyswen.
The walk was up the Blorenge hill (559m) to the west of Abergavenny. The hill is a little bland at the top but views to the Sugar Loaf and Skirrid are stunning (although the weather was a bit dull).
Well it seems that spring has sprung. Lovely views over the Black Mountains with still a few remnants of snow from 2 weeks ago. The warm weather is certainly bringing a few more people to the area walking, although it's half term this week.
We are a Tea Room and 3 star graded Bed and Breakfast in mid Wales, Powys.
Great for the Brecon Beacons National Park where you can enjoy loads of activities such as walking, canoeing, fishing, gliding and cycling.
